The crime branch is gearing up for wider investigation in the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination fraud.

Thiruvananthapuram: The crime branch is gearing up for wider investigation in the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination fraud. A detailed probe will be launched into the PSC examinations conducted in previous years. For this, details of earlier rank lists have been demanded.
Crime branch has sent a letter to PSC secretary demanding the details of the rank lists of all examinations conducted in the past three years.
This is to find out whether any fraudulent activity, similar to that of the police constable examination, had taken place earlier.
High Court had observed while considering the anticipatory bail plea of the fourth accused in the PSC police constable exam case the other day that the present situation in conducting PSC exams is worrisome and a detailed and wider investigation is required.
The probe is to find out whether any undeserving candidate or anyone who has connections with the accused in the PSC police constable exam case,  was included in the list.Meanwhile, crime branch submitted application for the custody of policeman Gokul involved in the police constable exam case.He had surrendered the other day.
