Mahendra Singh Dhoni was seen sweating it out in the nets in Southampton ahead of India’s first match of the World Cup 2019 against South Africa on June 5.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was in his elements in Southampton on Monday as he batted in full flow in the nets ahead of Team India’s opening match of the World Cup 2019 against South Africa on June 5.

MS Dhoni went big in the nets session as he hit a few balls out of the park while also worked on his defensive shots at the same time.

Dhoni has been in terrific form with the bat this year both for India and Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2019. The 37-year-old has amassed 327 runs in 9 ODIs for India at a staggering average of 81.75 with four half-centuries while in the IPL this season he scored 416 runs in 15 games at 83.20 with three fifties with CSK finishing as the runners-up.
